I've only worn this jacket a few times, but had a few points of feedback that should help:

Color: The "dark backcountry" is badly misrepresented in the photos. It is not a dark olive green, but more of a bright, medium John Deere green. I actually like it, but be advised that it is quite different from the photo. My photo is shot in diffused natural light.

Sizing: I'm 6'0 160lb with a lean, runner's build. The arms on the medium were cut way too wide, so I went for the small. It fits me nearly perfectly, but those with 34" waist or larger should order a medium. I usually wear a medium, so you may want to go down a size if you like a close fit–length on the arms and waist are generous.

I was highly skeptical about a $50 fake leather jacket. I wouldn't have ordered without the option of free return. It even occurred to me that a single wearing would have constituted getting my money's worth.

I kept it. It has been serving me well for a few months now. The fit, durability and overall quality have exceeded expectations.

The PU leather has a natural appearance. The fabric is stretchy and feels very similar to animal hide. It wouldn't fool an expert's interrogation but the visual appearance and drape are convincing.

I suspect it is more durable than natural leather. I wear it regularly with a backpack and it hasn't shown any scuffs or tears yet.

The torso fit and sleeve length of the medium size work great for me. I'm 6', 180 lbs, medium athletic build. I am even able to wear a base layer, flannel buttondown shirt and a light fleece vest beneath it. This combined with the plush lining has kept me comfortable in winter weather.

The faux distressed treatment likewise looks naturalistic. A friend was convinced it was leather and that I had either stolen it from my dad's closet or bought it in a vintage shop. Don't snitch!

A few minor criticisms I can totally live with:
1. The snaps securing the waist cinch straps pull away easily. They are ornamental. I may end up gluing them down with epoxy.
2. The interior back panel is only attached on the top and can get caught standing straight up if I put the coat on too quickly. I can see gluing or sewing this down as well.
3. The zipper pull is on the lady side

No regrets. I'm considering buying one of the other style variations shown under this product listing.
